"As an attendee of the Take Flight training and a recent college graduate beginning my first year of teaching, I believe that I have learned more about dyslexia and reading than I ever did throughout my four years of college. I am so fortunate to be completing this training before educating the future of America. I would encourage all educators to complete this training in order to effectively teach their students and provide them with opportunities to succeed. Not only is Take Flight life-changing to the students receiving it, but it is also life-changing to the educators who provide it." R.I.

"The Take Flight Training Program has given me the skills that I will be able to use while working with struggling readers at school. It has made me rethink my teaching to better accommodate my struggling readers through the use of multisensory teaching that I have incorporated in my classroom.” D.O.

"I am so thankful to have taken the Take Flight training program. You simply will not find another program that better equips you to help students with dyslexia! This training is by far the most comprehensive and in-depth preparation for teaching children with dyslexia. In fact, because it’s accredited by ALTA, trainees can become dyslexia therapists - the highest level of dyslexia teacher training. Tara Chapman is an outstanding instructor and her decades of experience are unmatched here in the state of Illinois." K.P.

"The Take Flight training I received was the most impactful training I have ever participated in. The training centered on the Take Flight program but you received so much more. The training encompassed working with someone who may be dyslexic as well as ways to improve instruction in all of the literacy components. I have been teaching for 28 years and this training has sparked a passion in me with a new direction. I recommend this training to all teachers and to anyone who is working with or advocating for a student with dyslexia, as well as a struggling reader." A.Q.
